Alley Cat Art Walk returns to Downtown El Cajon as a featured highlight of Artivál on Saturday, September 12th. With more than two decades of history, this beloved community tradition has long served as a platform for local artists and creatives to share their work while fostering connection, inclusivity, and cultural expression.

Organized in partnership with Sophie’s Gallery and St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center, the event remains rooted in its mission to uplift artists of all backgrounds and abilities. This year, Alley Cat Art Walk will be thoughtfully integrated into Artivál, with activations spanning the gallery and the vibrant Art Alley (located just off Sulzfeld Way between Rea Avenue and E. Main Street) allowing attendees to experience this cherished event in a fresh, dynamic way.

While evolving within Artivál, the heart of Alley Cat Art Walk remains the same: a welcoming space to stroll, discover, and support local artists, small businesses, and growing creatives.
