Step into the remarkable world of Mary Jane Parkinson, one of the most respected authors, historians, and researchers in the Arabian Horse industry. For over 30 years, her writing, scholarship, and travels helped preserve the bloodlines, history, and cultural heritage of the Arabian horse around the world.

This special exhibition presents her private collection—a rare opportunity to view some of the most historically significant items she gathered throughout decades of research, travel, and authorship.

Guests will experience:

Original paintings, drawings, and rare posters
Sculptures and limited-edition prints
Historic memorabilia and documents related to international Arabian horse farms
Personal items that reflect her creative process, inspiration, and lifelong love of reading and writing

Mary Jane’s career took her around the globe—from Poland, Spain, England, and Denmark, to private breeding farms and world-renowned studs. She met historians, breeders, movie stars, and influential horsemen whose stories became part of her archives. She later served for over 20 years as Editor of the Arabian Horse World Magazine, becoming a leading voice and authority in the industry.

Live Painting: 3:00 PM
Witness six professional artists as they create original paintings inspired by horses from the legendary Skowronek bloodline—a line Mary Jane researched extensively and helped document for future generations.

Presented as part of the exhibition
Available for purchase during the show

Although admission is free, registration is required to attend the reception.
