How does El Cajon CDC acquire funding?
El Cajon CDC receives project specific funding from City of El Cajon Redevelopment Agency. El Cajon CDC also receives assessment funding based on parcel size and location from Property Based Improvement District (PBID) property owners including the City of El Cajon and County of San Diego. El Cajon CDC leverages this funding through grant income, donations and event sponsorships. El Cajon CDC has an annual operational budget in excess of $2 million dollars.
