 What you can expect at “A Toast to Music” in 2008
Show your support for Downtown El Cajon on Saturday, May 31st, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm by coming to El Cajon CDC’s 7th annual fundraiser “A Toast to Music” presented by Sycuan Casino The East County Performing Arts Center Plaza will come alive, with the sound of corks popping, glasses clinking, and people having an excellent time, all in support of the ongoing efforts of El Cajon CDC. This celebration includes dozens of participating wineries, breweries, and restaurants, that all have available stations for unlimited tasting. Join the hundreds of high-spirited El Cajon CDC supporters who attend “A Toast to Music” every year, and have a great time while helping with the revitalization of Downtown El Cajon at this amazing fundraiser.
 Imagine arriving at the event and discovering the sound of beautiful music, while you are greeted with a smile and handed a complimentary wine glass to begin your tasting journey. You can expect to enjoy wine from participating wineries that come from vineyards as far away as Italy, and as close as Temecula. As you make your way through the tasting stations you will also find breweries with frosty beer available, and delicious food from various restaurants in Downtown El Cajon and San Diego. While you mix and mingle with old friends and new acquaintances, you will also have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes by way of raffles and a silent auction. In the past, raffle prizes and silent auction items have included airline tickets, vacation getaways, jewelry, art, and vouchers for a private wine tasting. With the combination of unlimited tasting, your chances to win prizes, and a goodie bag you will be handed as you exit the event, you will not leave this fundraiser empty-handed. We promise A Toast to Music will leave you feeling delighted, but the best feeling you may have is knowing how much you have helped support the continuing effort of making Downtown El Cajon a beautiful place to live, work, and play!
You have three ways to enjoy the event…
- At a table for eight. Imagine sitting at a beautifully decorated table exclusively yours, as you listen to music and sip great wine, all while surrounded by people you know. $800.00 per table.
- At a premier tasting. At the premier tasting you will be treated to an exclusive wine tasting accompanied by scrumptious appetizers, while listening to delightful music. Following the tasting, the main event is all yours, as you enter before the general public. $100 per person.
- By attending the event. A Toast to Music is about a community coming together to enjoy wine, food, and friends while raising funds to continue our work of revitalizing Downtown El Cajon. Just ask someone whose been - it's a time you won't soon forget. $75.00 per person.
